butane(CAS: 106-97-8)

It is mainly used as fuel, solvent, refrigerant and raw material for organic synthesis. It is also used as standard gas and for preparing specialty standard mixed gases. N-butane is a colorless narcotic gas with a natural gas odor at normal temperature and atmospheric pressure. It is extremely flammable and can form explosive mixtures with air. It is widely applied in organic synthesis, ethylene production, fuel, solvent, refrigerant, standard gas, calibration gas, aerosol propellant, standard vapor pressure type pressure gauge and ionization particle counter.
